Mumtaz has two daughters but her elder daughter Tanya Madhvani remains very active on social media.

Tanya had said in an interview that people know that I am the daughter of famous actress Mumtaz. But for me, she is just my mother.

Talking about her father, Tanya said that he mostly used to travel, so she could not talk much to him.
