IAS Pooja Khedkar News: After being dismissed, the sword of arrest is now hanging over probationer IAS Pooja Khedkar. In fact, in an affidavit given in the court by Delhi Police, it has been clearly stated that one of Pooja's documents submitted at the time of joining may be fake. In this case, Delhi Police has filed a counter affidavit in the Delhi High Court. The police has told the Delhi High Court that former IAS probationer Pooja Khedkar had submitted two disability certificates to show several disabilities. Their investigation has revealed that one of these documents may be "fake" and "fabricated".

Delhi Police's argument

Delhi Police presented this argument before the court in response to Khedkar's anticipatory bail plea. Police said that Khedkar has submitted two different disability certificates for Civil Services Examination-2022 and Civil Services Examination-2023 respectively. In its report, the police has clearly stated that it suspects that Pooja's disability certificate may have been forged and forged. The hearing of the case is to be held on September 5. Pooja is accused of cheating and taking undue advantage of Other Backward Classes (OBC) and disability quota. Earlier, UPSC i.e. Union Public Service Commission had canceled the membership of trainee IAS Pooja Khedkar. After examining all the documents, UPSC found Khedkar guilty of violating CSE- 2002 Rules. Let us tell you that the Union Public Service Commission had registered an FIR in this regard. UPSC also reviewed Pooja's documents of the last 15 years. UPSC clarified that it neither has the authority nor the means to check the authenticity of thousands of certificates submitted by the candidates. 

UPSC had complained, police had filed a case

Earlier, UPSC had complained against her to Delhi Police, on which the Crime Branch of Delhi Police had registered a case against Pooja Khedkar under forgery, forgery, Disability Act and IT Act. UPSC had said in its complaint- A detailed investigation was conducted against Pooja Khedkar. It was found that she violated the rules in the Civil Services Examination 2022. Her time limit for appearing in the examination had expired. Despite this, she appeared in the UPSC Civil Services Examination by changing her identity fraudulently. She even changed her name, father's name, mother's name, photo and signature. Apart from this, she also changed her mobile number, email ID and address. Due to creating a new identity in a wrong way, she got more opportunities to appear in the examination. Pooja Khedkar is accused of appearing in the UPSC examination by submitting a certificate of being visually impaired and mentally ill. On the basis of that, she became an IAS by getting special concessions. If she had not got this concession, it would not have been possible for her to get the IAS post on the basis of the marks obtained.
