The ODI World Cup 2023, to be held from October to November, has been dubbed the biggest ODI World Cup ever. Nielsen's economic impact assessment for the ICC shows that the mega-event not only drew unprecedented crowds but also had a profound economic impact.

The report shows that tourism-related revenues in host cities reached USD 861.4 million, including accommodation, travel, transport, and food and beverages. The tournament attracted a record 1.25 million spectators, of which nearly 75% attended an ICC 50-over match for the first time.
