Stock Market Closing On 20th September 2022: Tuesday proved to be a very auspicious day for the Indian stock market. The Indian market continued to rise on the second trading day of the week as well. Sensex again managed to cross the 60,000 mark. However, the market declined from the upper levels. Despite this, at the end of today's trading, the Sensex of Mumbai Stock Exchange closed at 59,719 points with a gain of 578 points. So the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange closed at 17,816 points with a jump of 194 points.

In Tuesday's trading session, the shares of the Banking Sector, Auto, IT, Pharma, FMCG, Media, Oil and Gas Sector, Consumer Durables, Energy, and Metals Sector closed with gains. Buying was also seen in small-cap and mid-cap indices in today's rally in the market. Of the 50 stocks of Nifty, only 44 stocks closed in the green, and only 6 stocks fell. Out of 30 stocks of Sensex, only 24 stocks have closed in the green mark, the remaining 6 shares closed in the red mark.

A total of 3602 shares were traded on the BSE, in which 2106 shares rose and 1365 shares closed in the red mark. There is no change in the price of 131 shares. In today's trading session, 316 shares had an upper circuit while 176 shares closed with the lower circuit. The market capitalization of the stock market has increased to Rs 283.32 lakh crore.
