Milk costlier by 20 percent!

One liter token milk was available at Rs 42 per liter which is now available at Rs 50 per litre. Toned milk, where earlier it was available for Rs.47 a litre, is now available for Rs.51 a litre. And cow's milk, where it was available for Rs.49 per litre, is now available for Rs.55 per litre. That is, an increase of 10 percent to 20 percent in the prices of milk has been seen during this period.

Effect of expensive milk
In the last year and a half, dairy companies have increased the price of milk several times citing cost. Due to expensive milk, the prices of khoya-paneer, chhena, ghee, curd have increased. Sweets are made from milk, so it has a direct impact on the prices of things made from milk. An average increase of 15 to 20 percent in the price of milk has been seen in the last one and a half years. Due to expensive milk, the price of ghee has increased tremendously in a year. Ghee, which was available at Rs 400 to 450 per kg a year ago, is now available at Rs 550 to 600 per kg. Whether it is branded paneer or non-branded, the prices of both have increased. Paneer, which was available at Rs 350 per kg last year, is now available at Rs 400 to 450 per kg. And now it is believed that due to the increase in the price of milk, the prices of Ghee and Paneer may increase further.
