Winter Beauty Tips: Take care of your skin in this way in the winter season, there will be no problem of dryness...
Winter season has started and with it, cold winds have also started blowing. In such a situation, if you ignore skin care, it will start deteriorating. Therefore, start preparing your skin for winter in advance so that your skin remains fresh and soft in the cold. We talked to beauty expert Poonam Chugh in this regard. She says, 'The more moisturized and hydrated you keep your skin during winter, the better it will be for you. In this season, you should also pay special attention to your diet and include things containing Vitamin C in your diet.
Reduce hot water use
Usually, people start bathing with hot water at the beginning of winter, but bathing with hot water can be very harmful to your skin. Hot water dehydrates your skin and makes it dry. Therefore, you should always take a bath with lukewarm water even in the winter season. You can also add honey, rose water, coconut oil, or almond oil to the bath water and take a bath with that water. Doing this reduces dryness of the skin and also brings shine.
Adopt a winter skin care routine
It is very important to change your skin care routine according to the season. You should decide your day and night skin care routine according to whether your skin is dry or oily. You should definitely try the fruit skin care routine once during the winter season. Many fruits are available in this season, including papaya, apple, pomegranate, banana, etc. If you apply some of these fruits to your skin, your skin will get a unique glow. All these fruits are rich in moisturizing properties as well as antioxidants. Poonam ji says, 'Using banana and honey on dry skin is very beneficial and those who have oily skin can include papaya and apple in their skin care routine.'
You will find many types of moisturizers in the market. You should never take any moisturizer without looking at the ingredients. It is beneficial for you to take moisturizer according to your skin type. Let us tell you that if your skin is oily then you should use powder-based moisturizer and if your skin is dry then you should use cream-based moisturizer. Also, using gel-based moisturizers is a good option for combination skin.
Avoid exposure to cold air
Protect your skin from cold air. This may cause dryness in your skin. Some people get redness. Sometimes the dryness is so much that the skin starts cracking and blood starts coming out from it. In such a situation, you should moisturize the skin well and leave the house only after covering it with cotton cloth.
Don't forget to use sun protection
The fog that falls in winter contains UVB rays, which damage the upper layer of the skin. At the same time, we take more sun baths in winter, hence the problem of skin tanning also increases. Therefore you must protect yourself from the sun.
