With the help of this feature, users will be able to separate the text directly from the image. The company is rolling out this feature to everyone after installing the new WhatsApp for iOS 23.5.77 update.

The text detection feature will work like this
According to a report by WABetaInfo, when a user opens an image that contains text, there will now be a new button that will let him copy the text from the image. This new feature will not work in View Once. The messaging platform is rolling out a sticker maker tool on iOS that will let users convert images into stickers.

Earlier this week, WhatsApp is also rolling out the 'Voice Status Update' feature globally on iOS, with which users can record voice notes and share them via Status. Currently, the maximum recording time for a voice note is 30 seconds.

Whatsapp expiring group feature will start soon
On some special festivals, we create some WhatsApp groups and leave them like this, in such a situation the WhatsApp group remains empty like this. The Expiring Groups feature will allow users to select the expiry date for the groups they were added to. Through this feature, WhatsApp groups can be set according to a day, a week, and even a custom date. This feature will also allow the user to delete the set expiry date.

The text editor feature will start soon
According to a recent report by feature tracker WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is working on a new text editor feature that will bring new fonts and text formatting to the drawing tool. Apart from this, users will also be able to change the color of the text background. Along with this, very soon we can see new fonts like Calistoga, Courier Prime, Damian, Exo 2, and Morning Breeze on WhatsApp.
