According to SBI, account holders can access this information through WhatsApp without logging into the YONO app or visiting an ATM. To access this service, users have to register their SBI account for WhatsApp service and first give their consent through SMS.

Register for SBI WhatsApp service like this:
To register your bank account for the SBI WhatsApp Banking Service, you have to SMS ‘WAREG A/C No’ to 917208933148 from your registered mobile number. Then as soon as the registration process is completed. You will be able to use SBI's WhatsApp service.

After this, you will have to open WhatsApp and send Hi to +909022690226. Here again, the pop-up message will open.

After this, you will get options like account balance and mini statement.

If you want to check your account balance then you have to type 1. At the same time, for mini statement, you will have to type 2.
