It is believed that bringing this idol home brings happiness and prosperity. Apart from this, the idol of Lord Ganesha in a lying position can also be brought home.

According to Vastu Shastra, in the idol of Lord Ganesha, his trunk should be inclined towards the left. Only by worshiping such an idol one attain happiness and prosperity. Keep in mind that do not bring home an idol with its trunk tilted to the right.
