When will you be able to make online payments up to Rs 5 lakh?
The facility for online payment up to Rs 5 lakh will be started by NPCI from January 10, 2024. Last month, the Reserve Bank of India directed that payments up to Rs 5 lakh can be made for hospital and education services.

Payment of only Rs 1 lakh at one time
Under the new update, users can make online payments up to Rs 5 lakh, but earlier only up to Rs 1 lakh could be paid. For information, let us tell you that this limit has been increased only for verified merchants. At the same time, the one-day limit of UPI has been fixed at Rs 1 lakh.
