Testing of 20 software tools is being done under the project. These softwares will be rolled out soon for Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs).
Union Home Secretary Ajay Kumar Bhalla on Tuesday said a new project is being launched by the Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D) in 2021. Bhalla gave this information in the 53rd foundation day celebration of BPR&D. He said that 20 software tools are being tested under this project. These software will be rolled out soon for Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs).
Bhalla said that 20 software tools are being developed in this project which started in 2021. These are currently being tested and are ready for rollout to our law enforcement agencies (LEAs). We would like to see all these things become very useful for our LEAs.
He said that BPR&D is working towards the needs of our LEAs and the security of the nation and for this, it has been successful in fostering a large community of students, researchers, scientists, professors and developers. Bhalla said the Home Ministry is committed to promoting research and development and providing all possible assistance to the organization.
