This temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is in Uttarakhand, whose name is Tungnath. According to a recent study by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), it has been found that the famous Tungnath temple in Uttarakhand is tilted by about 5 to 6 degrees, while smaller structures are tilted by up to 10 degrees.

Tallest temple in the world
This north-facing temple is situated at an altitude of 12,800 feet in the Rudraprayag district of the Garhwal Himalayas. The officials of the Archaeological Survey of India have informed the central government about this. Along with this, the Archaeological Department has also suggested to include it as a protected monument. If reports are to be believed, the government has also started the process of declaring it a monument of national importance and has issued a notification seeking objections from the public.

Temple will be repaired
To take action with immediate effect, ASI will find out the reason for the damage to the temple. Along with this, the repair of the temple will also be done. At present, the officials are not ruling out the possibility of temple collapse. According to reports, efforts will also be made to replace the damaged foundation stone after consulting experts if needed. The agency has installed glass scales here, which will measure the movement on the walls of the main temple.
