Jai Vilas Palace, Gwalior
Jai Vilas Palace was built in 1874 by Maharaja Jayaji Rao Scindia. Michael Philos was the architect who designed this magnificent structure and incorporated European-style architecture in his design. The three-story palace has different styles of architecture. The first in the Tuscan style, the second in the Italian Doric, and the third in the Corinthian style. The former royal seat is now a museum, known as the Jiwaji Rao Scindia Museum.
