About Nishat Bagh
Nishat Bagh is a 12-terraced garden near the famous Dal Lake in Srinagar. Nishat Bagh is the second largest Mughal garden in Kashmir after Shalimar Bagh. Known as the "Garden of Pleasure", the garden features several fountains as well as tall poplar trees. Nishat Bagh was designed and built by Nur Jahan's elder brother Asif Khan in 1633. From this garden, you can see the high mountains as well as the beautiful Dal Lake.
