Rest and return: Plan to rest overnight in Kedarnath after your darshan. Start your return journey to Gaurikund the next morning to avoid travelling in the dark.

Travel from Gaurikund to Sonprayag : If you plan to return the same day , you may reach Gaurikund late in the evening or at night. Securing seats on night trains may be challenging , and accommodation in Gaurikund is limited.

Child Safety: It is advisable not to take children below 12 years of age due to unpredictable weather and low oxygen levels , which may impact their health.
