Here the devotees also make wishes for the happiness and peace of their family. It is believed that by visiting Mata Rani, the wishes of the devotees are also fulfilled here. Earlier, the villagers used to burn incense here in the court of Mata Rani, so that the mother could protect them from trouble. Gradually, the fame of the temple increased in the entire district and the number of devotees continued to increase here. Devotees have unwavering faith in this temple.

Mata Rani herself incarnated here
Devotee Balwant who came to visit the temple said that for 23 years I have been coming here daily to visit. There is no idol brought here by anyone, but Mata Rani naturally incarnated here. It is said that the wishes of the devotees are fulfilled by writing their wishes on the white wall behind the temple. The wishes of many devotees have also been fulfilled. This is the reason that even today the faith of the devotees towards the temple remains intact. Bhairuram, the priest of Chamunda Mata Temple, says that for the last 1500 years, many generations of our family have been worshiping Mata Rani.

Interesting story of the temple
It is believed that in ancient times Maa Chamunda used to warn against thieves coming to nearby villages. The mother used to give a message to the villagers about the arrival of thieves in the village by calling out from the hill itself. After the theft failed, one day the thief went to the hill to find out from where the sound comes and there he attacked the hand of Mother Chamunda with a sword. Enraged, the mother killed two of the three thieves by beheading them with a Trishul. A thief ran away with Mata Rani's trishul, who died after being hit by a train. After this, the railway officer deposited the Trishul lying there in the Malkhana. On the same day at night the mother appeared in the officer's dream and asked to keep the trishul in the temple and the next day out of fear the officer reached there with the trishul and had the darshan of the mother.
