Poppy syrup is one of them. Let us tell you that poppy seeds give a lot of cooling effects, drinking it gives coolness to the body. So let's know the recipe for making poppy seed syrup at home.
Khus essence - 1 tbsp
Sugar - 1 cup
water - one and a half liters
Green food color - 1 tbsp
half a lemon
Citric Acid - 1/4 tsp
liquid glucose - 1 tbsp
black salt - as per taste
1 First put the pan on the gas. After this, add three-fourths of water along with 1 cup of sugar and leave it to dissolve well.
2 When the mixture becomes slightly sticky, add citric acid and mix.
3 Now add liquid glucose to it. When the sugar syrup is ready, turn off the gas.
4 After this, keep the syrup at room temperature to cool down.
5 When it cools down, add khus essence and green food color to it and mix.
6 Then add 4 spoons of poppy seed syrup, black salt, lemon, and water in a jar and mix it well.
7 Now pour the sherbet into a glass and serve chilled by adding ice cubes.
