The Staff Selection Commission has announced the date of Paper 2 examination for Junior Engineer recruitment. Candidates successful in Paper 1 examination will appear in Paper 2 examination. The exam will be held on 6 November 2024 at various centers across the country. Candidates can check the exam date by visiting the official website of SSC, ssc.gov.in.

According to the official notification issued by the Commission, the Commission has decided to conduct Paper II of Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical and Electrical) Examination 2024 on November 6, 2024. This year SSC had announced 968 posts for Junior Engineer posts in departments like Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. Staff Selection Commission had recruited junior engineers for a total of 1324 posts last year.

SSC JE Exam 2024 Date: When was the Paper 1 exam held?

SSC conducted the JE Paper 1 exam from June 5 to 7 and the result was declared on August 20. Candidates who qualified in Paper 1 will now appear for the Paper 2 exam in November. SSC will call the candidates who qualified in Paper 2 for further selection process. The admit card will be issued on the scheduled date.

SSC JE Paper 2 Exam: What is the exam pattern?

A total of 100 questions of 300 marks will be asked in the JE Paper 2 exam and the exam time will be for two hours. The exam will be conducted in CTB mode. Selected candidates will be given salary level-6 (Rs 35,400-1,12,400) of the Seventh Central Pay Commission Pay Matrix. For more information, candidates can visit the official website of SSC.
