3. Bill Woodfull - Australian captain Bill Woodfull scored 58 runs without hitting a single boundary during the Sydney Test against the West Indies. Woodfull, who captained Australia and led his team to victory by an innings margin, remained at the crease for 139 minutes.

4. Farokh Engineer - Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Farokh Engineer also scored a half-century without hitting a boundary in a Test against England at The Oval in August 1971. Engineer scored 59 off 111 balls and contributed significantly to India's four-wicket win.

5. Chetan Chauhan - Indian cricketer Chetan Chauhan scored a half-century without a boundary in a Test against West Indies at the Wankhede Stadium in December 1978. Chauhan scored 52 runs off 167 balls in 219 minutes, although he could never score a century in his Test career.
