Necessary ingredients
Gram flour - 7 tbsp
Carrot - 1 cup (finely chopped)
Bottle gourd - 1 cup (finely chopped)
Beans - 1 cup (finely chopped)
Okra - 6-7 (finely chopped)
Green chilli - 1-2
Asafoetida - a pinch
Cumin - 1 tsp
Fenugreek seeds - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric - 1 pinch
Green coriander - for garnishing
salt - as per taste
oil - as required


- Pour oil into a pan and heat it. After this add asafoetida, cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds and green chillies and fry them.
Now add seasonal vegetables like brinjal, bottled gourd, okra, carrot, and beans and cover and cook on a medium flame for 5 minutes.
Fry the gram flour lightly.
Now add water slowly to the gram flour and dissolve it. Take special care that no lumps remain.
Now put another pan on the gas and let it heat up. When it becomes hot, add gram flour solution and let it boil well. Keep stirring in between.
Now add cooked vegetables, turmeric, coriander powder and salt to the gram flour and let it cook for 10 to 15 minutes.
After cooking completely, add tamarind pulp and cook for 3 more minutes and turn off the gas.
