Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana
Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY) was started by the Modi government in 2015 to promote self-employment. Under this scheme, a collateral-free loan of up to Rs 10 lakh is given. This loan is given for non-corporate and non-agricultural work. If you want to start your own business and you do not have the money for it, then through this scheme of the government, you can fulfill your need for money.

The loan is available in 3 categories.
Shishu Loan - In this, financial assistance of up to Rs 50 thousand is given.
Kishore Loan- In this, a loan of up to 5 lakhs is given.
Tarun Loan- In this, an amount of up to 10 lakh rupees is given as a loan.

Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana
This scheme was also started in July 2015 to make the youth self-reliant. It is also known as the Prime Minister Youth Training Program. Under this scheme, youth are made employable by giving them free training in various fields. The training is free. Financial assistance is also given to the youth during the training days. After completion of the training, a certificate is given, showing which job can be obtained in the private or government sector, or with the help of this certificate, the youth can also start their own business.

PM Swanidhi Yojana
Under the PM Swanidhi Yojana, the government gives a loan of up to Rs 50,000 to street vendors. This loan is collateral free, that is, for this the vendors do not need to mortgage anything with the bank. To make street vendors self-reliant, increase their employment, and increase their income, the Modi government launched the PM Swanidhi Yojana in the year 2020. Under this scheme, the loan is available in three installments. The amount has to be returned in 12 months. To start a business, under this scheme, one applies for a loan of up to Rs 10,000 for the first time. If the money is repaid on time, then the vendors become eligible for a loan of double the amount i.e. up to Rs 20,000, and in the third time they can take a loan of up to Rs 50,000.
