Rishi Panchami worship method
Pandit Manoj Upadhyay said that on this day women should clean their houses, take baths etc. and wear clothes. After that, make a square circle with turmeric, kumkum, etc. on a post and establish Saptarishi. After installation, offer Panchamrit and water. After that apply tilak with sandalwood. Along with this, offer flowers and garlands. After this, offer the sacred thread along with the cloth. After this, offer sweets along with pure fruits to Saptarishi. After offering the offering, perform Aarti by lighting incense sticks and lamps. Along with this, read the fast story of Rishi Panchami.
