Railway Recruitment : Great news for youth, lakhs of vacancies in railways, know when and how to apply

Railway Jobs: There are going to be bumper recruitments in the railways soon. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav told in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha that there are 2,48,895 vacancies in Group C posts in all zones of the Railways while 2070 posts are vacant in Group A and B posts.  

Railway Recruitment : Railways has recently issued notification for 9739 posts of Constable and Sub Inspector in Railway Police Force, 27019 posts of Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician Grade, 62907 posts of Group D, 9500 posts and 798 vacancies in RPF. At the same time, the news is that the Railways is going to release bumper recruitment soon. These recruitments are to be done in various zones and departments of Indian Railways. If you are looking for a government job then this news is for you. Indian Railways is going to issue notification for the recruitment of 2,48,895 posts very soon. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav himself has given this information in the Rajya Sabha. If reports are to be believed, through this recruitment drive, lakhs of posts of Assistant Station Master, Ticket Collector, Non Technical Popular Category and Security Personnel will be filled. 

Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav told in a written reply in Rajya Sabha that there are 2,48,895 vacancies in Group C posts in all zones of Railways while 2070 posts are vacant in Group A and B posts. As per the notifications, a total of 1,28,349 candidates have been empanelled for Group 'C' posts (except Level-1) (up to 30.06.2023). As per the notification, a total of 1,47,280 candidates have been empanelled for Level-1 posts (up to 30.06.2023). Direct recruitment to Group 'A' services on Indian Railways is mainly done by UPSC. Indent has been placed on UPSC and DoPT.

When to apply

There are bumper recruitments to be made for more than 2.4 lakh posts in the railways. Indian Railways will soon issue notification for these recruitments. As soon as the notification is issued, eligible candidates will be able to apply for recruitment in the railways.
