Rice flour - one and a half cup

Carrot chopped - 1/2 cup

Capsicum of all three colors - 1/2 cup

Chopped coriander - 2 tbsp

Grated fresh coconut - 1 cup

Method of making Puttu

To make puttu, a South Indian food dish, first take rice flour and fry it lightly, after that sprinkle a little water in the flour and mix it. After this, add three colored chopped capsicums, green coriander, chopped carrot, and salt as per taste in this flour and mix it all well. Now take a cup of fresh coconut and grate it. After this, take Kuttu Vessel or Idli Maker whichever is available, and first fill grated fresh coconut in it, then cover it by pouring Puttu mixture on top.

Now put the container of puttu on the lid of the cooker and cover it and steam cook the puttu for about 15 minutes. After that turn off the gas flame. Now open the lid and check. In this way your delicious puttu for breakfast is ready. It can be served with coconut chutney and sambar. If you want to serve puttu to a guest, then to give a South Indian feel, puttu can be served on banana leaves.
