Necessary ingredients

- 500 grams rajma (boiled)

- 3-4 onions (finely chopped)

- 4 tomato paste

- 100 grams ghee

- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste

- half tsp red chili powder

- half tsp coriander powder

- tsp garam masala powder

- 1/4 tsp kasoori methi

- salt to taste

- 4 cloves

- 4 whole black peppercorns

- 1 piece of cinnamon

- 1-2 thick black cardamom

Ingredients for Garnishing

- Few green coriander (finely chopped)

- a little ginger (grated)

- salt to taste

Recipe

  • Heat ghee in a pan, add whole spices and fry it.
  • Add onion paste and fry till golden brown.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste and fry for 5 minutes.
  • Now add tomato paste and cook for 5-6 minutes. Add all the powdered spices and salt and fry.
  • Now add boiled kidney beans and cover it and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Serve garnished with green coriander and ginger.
