Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday transferred the 16th installment of the Central Government scheme PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. In this installment, an amount of more than Rs 21,000 crore was transferred to the accounts of farmers, due to which more than 9 crore farmer families will get an amount of more than Rs 3 lakh crore. This scheme has completed 5 years, on this occasion the PM announced the distribution of the 16th installment in a program in Yavatmal. According to the official website of PM Kisan pmkisan.gov.in, till now an amount of more than Rs 2.80 lakh crore has been given to 11 crore farmers under this scheme.

Under the scheme, the Central Government transfers an amount of ₹ 6000 every four months in three equal installments to the bank accounts of eligible farmers and till now the government has released 15 installments to the farmers. PM Kisan Yojana was launched in February 2019 to provide financial assistance to land-holding farmers across the country to meet their farming needs.

What to do if PM Kisan's money has not arrived?
If the amount of PM Kisan Yojana has not reached your account, then first check your application status. Check whether everything is correct or not. If money is not credited to the account even after completion of e-KYC and verification of land records, information can be obtained by contacting the helpline number. If Rs 2,000 has not been received in your account under the 16th installment, then you can do some work, you should first check your name in the beneficiary list. Along with this, also check that the documents in which you filled in the information like your bank account details, Aadhaar number, etc. are absolutely correct. Even if something goes wrong, your money may get stuck.

How to check your name in the beneficiary list?

- First of all, you have to go to the official portal of PM Kisan Yojana pmkisan.gov.in.

- Scroll down a little and you will see "Farmers Corner", there will be many boxes below it. Here click on the box containing Beneficiary Status "Beneficiary Status".

- After this, you have to enter either the PM Kisan account number or registered mobile number.

- If the mobile number is not registered then register it first. For this, an OTP (One Time Password) will come on your phone.

- Now after this process is completed, click on Get Data.

- You will see the status of your account.
