Pashan Devi Temple: The water of this temple of Nainital is miraculous, it gives relief from skin diseases and stammering!

Uttarakhand is not called Devbhoomi for no reason. Gods reside in every particle of this place. The many temples present here are enough to prove that the people of this land have a centuries-old relationship with faith. There are many such temples here, which have their importance and stories related to Puranas. One such mythological temple is also situated on the cold road of Nainital, which is known as Pashan Devi. It is believed that the holy water of this temple cures skin-related diseases, which increases the importance of this temple even more.
This temple is situated on the hill on the banks of Naini Lake. Here the natural form of Maa Bhagwati is made. In this, all the nine forms of Maa Bhagwati are seen together. Devotees come here from far and wide to see these nine forms of the mother.
Temple priest Jagdish Bhatt told that in this temple, the nine pindis of the naturally manifested mother are bathed with conch water in the morning. After that, the water is invited, for which the devotees come to the temple to take it. He further told that by using this water, one gets rid of skin-related diseases, white spots, stuttering as well as swelling of hands and feet, and joints.
The priest told that not only the local people but also from many cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Chandigarh, and Lucknow reach here to take this water. This consecrated water is mixed with drinking and bathing water, which helps to get rid of external and internal diseases. He further told that this water the mother is taken out once every 10 days. The day, time, and date are suggested for extracting this water. Only after that, it is taken out.
Jagdish Bhatt further said that earlier the demand for this water was less, so it was extracted in small quantities, but now people come from far and wide to take this blessed water. Given its demand, now it is taken out thrice a month at an interval of 10-10 days. The quantity of this blessed water is 20 to 25 liters. People reach here from far and wide to visit this temple with faith.
