Paneer Lababdar Recipe
To make paneer lababdar, first cut paneer pieces. After this, put a cup of water in a vessel and heat it. Put a piece of tomato, garlic, and ginger in it. Then add cloves, cardamom pods, cashews, and a little salt and cover the vessel and cook for 10 minutes. When the tomatoes become soft properly, turn off the gas and let the mixture cool down. After this, put all the ingredients in a mixer jar and prepare a smooth puree and keep it aside in a vessel.

Now put butter and oil in a pan and heat it on medium flame. After melting the butter, add bay leaves, cinnamon, green chilies and kasoori fenugreek and fry them. Add finely chopped onion to it for some time and cook till it becomes soft. Then add turmeric, red chili, coriander powder, and other spices and mix. When the spices start releasing an aroma, add the already prepared puree to it and mix it with a ladle.

Now cover the pan and let the puree cook for 10 minutes. Keep stirring the puree in between. When the puree starts leaving oil, add 1 cup of water and salt as per taste and mix. After the puree starts boiling, add paneer pieces and grated paneer and mix. Now cover the pan again and let the paneer lababdar cook. After cooking for 5 minutes, turn off the gas and add cream or cream on top, and mix.

Now paneer lababdar is almost ready. Add garam masala and green coriander leaves to it and mix. Now serve hot paneer lababdar with roti, paratha or rice. It can be eaten for lunch or dinner at any time.
