Here is a simple recipe for making noodles at home:

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz. dried noodles (such as spaghetti or egg noodles)
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (such as carrots, bell peppers, and broccoli)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the noodles according to package directions until they are al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. Heat the oil in a wok or large frying pan over medium-high heat.

  3. Add the garlic and onion and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes, until the onion is translucent.

  4. Add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes, until they are tender-crisp.

  5. Add the cooked noodles to the pan and toss everything together.

  6. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce and oyster sauce (if using).

  7. Pour the sauce over the noodles and vegetables, and toss everything together until the noodles are evenly coated.

  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  9. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
