Muscle pain
The first symptom of muscle strain is pain. If you are feeling muscle pain, contact a doctor immediately. If not treated, the pain may increase. Avoid sitting or standing for long periods of time if you have pain. During this, pay attention to sitting in the correct posture.

Redness and swelling in muscles
Redness and swelling may occur when muscles are strained. You may notice red raised skin in the painful area. You should avoid lifting heavy things during muscle strain. If you are starting to exercise, start with shorter intervals first.

Recrease in activities
If you feel strain in your muscles, you will face problems in doing any work. The activity of the person suffering from pain may be reduced. In case of muscle strain, avoid going to sloping or slippery places. Use caution when walking on stairs and floors.

Pain at rest
You may have trouble relaxing when your muscles are strained. Pain may be felt even while resting. Due to strain in the muscles, the person is unable to rest on any side and feels pain.

Treatment of muscle strain
Rock salt

Magnesium sulphate is found in it which is a natural ingredient to relax the muscles. Magnesium draws fluid out of the tissue causing muscle pain.

How to use rock salt
Take a cup of rock salt and add it to hot water. Now immerse the affected part in cold water until it becomes cold. Keep in mind that the water should not be too cold. You do this three times a week.

Apple cider vinegar has alkaline properties which are anti-inflammatory and reduces pain and swelling in the muscles.

How to use apple cider vinegar:
