There are many dishes of Gujarat which are famous all over the country. People eat them with great enthusiasm. One such food dish is Methi Thepla. It tastes best when prepared with fresh fenugreek leaves. Methi Thepla can be eaten for breakfast, lunch, or dinner i.e. any time of the day. Children like this dish very much. Its taste makes it quite special in itself. It is not very difficult to make it. We are going to tell you an easy recipe that any housewife can understand. Delicious Methi Thepla will be prepared using the method suggested by us, which everyone will like.

Ingredients
Wheat flour – 2 cups
Fenugreek leaves – 1 cup
Curd – 1/2 cup
Gram flour – 1/4 cup
Sesame seeds – 1 tsp
Ajwain – 1/2 tsp
Grated ginger – 1 inch
Kashmiri red chili – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
Oil
Green chopped chilli – 1

Recipe
- First of all, put 2 cups of wheat flour in a big bowl. Add 1/4 cup gram flour to it. Now mix both well.
Now add red chili powder, carom seeds, sesame seeds, turmeric, and salt as per taste to this mixture and mix.
- After this add chopped green chillies and grated ginger and mix.
- Wash fenugreek leaves thoroughly and chop them finely.
Now add these leaves to the flour mixture and mix. The leaves should mix well with the flour.
Now add 1/2 cup curd to this mixture. Using curd will remove the bitterness in thepla.

- Now add water little by little and knead the dough. If you want, you can knead the dough with curd water.
- The dough should be kneaded soft so that thepla can be made easily. To make the dough soft, you can also add 2 spoons of oil in it.
- After kneading the dough, make balls of it and roll it like chapatti or paratha.
- Now place the pan on the gas and put thepla on it and cook. Bake the thepla on both sides like paratha and apply oil or ghee on it.
- Prepare theplas of all the balls in this way. Methi thepla is ready. Serve it with curd or pickle.
