He said that this year Ganesh Chaturthi will start from 12:40 pm on 18 September 2023 and will continue till 01:44 pm on 19 September 2023. On this auspicious occasion, the idol of Lord Shri Ganesha should be installed in the house as per the rituals, and by worshiping Lord Shri Ganesha for the next 10 days, Lord Shri Ganesha becomes pleased and bestows special blessings on his devotees and helping them in all their lives. Take away the sufferings. After this, on 28 September 2023, immerse Lord Shri Ganesha by worshiping him as per the rituals.

Follow these rules while installing Lord Shri Ganesha
1: While bringing the idol of Lord Shri Ganesha, keep in mind that the trunk of Lord Ganesha should be inclined towards the left. Establishing such an idol brings success along with happiness and prosperity.

2: The idol of Lord Shri Ganesha that is being brought into the house must have Modak and Mushak in its hand. Because Lord Shri Ganesha likes Modak very much and Mushak is his vehicle. This makes them happy and fulfills their wishes.

3: Bringing a red vermillion-colored idol of Lord Shri Ganesha brings happiness and prosperity in the house and bringing a white-colored idol brings peace.

4: While installing the idol of Lord Shri Ganesha, the face of the idol should be in the north direction, because along with Lord Shiva, Goddess Lakshmi resides in the north direction. Along with this, his face should be towards the door of the house.
