We are talking about the Ganesh temple located in Ranthambore Fort of Sawai Madhopur where about 10 kg of wedding cards come every day. It is believed that taking blessings in this Ganesh temple leads to the growth of crops. Remember that during the wedding of Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal, after the people of Madhopur told them about the importance of this temple, the news came that the couple wanted to go there. After this, there was a lot of discussion about the temple.

This temple of Lord Shri Ganesha is very ancient at a height of 1500 feet in Ranthambore Fort of Sawai Madhopur. This temple is considered to be the first Ganesh temple not only in India but also in the world. Here the idol of Lord Ganesha himself appeared. Lord Ganesha is present in this temple with two wives – Riddhi and Siddi and two sons – Shubh and Benefic – which means the entire family can be seen here.

Here only the face of Lord Ganesha is worshipped. The statue looks mysterious as it has no other body parts. People all over the world send the first card to the temple before a wedding or any auspicious occasion. The temple receives 15 to 20 kg of mail every day. It includes invitation cards and letters addressed to Lord Ganesha. Which is also in different languages. The big thing is that the priest reads out all the cards to Lord Ganesha.

It is said that this temple was built by King Hamir of Ranthambore in the 10th century. Since then the process of giving the first invitation to Lord Ganesha has been going on. According to another belief, Lord Shri Krishna was married to Rukmani in Dwapar Yuga. He forgot to invite Ganesh ji to this marriage. Krishnaji realized his mistake and explained it to Ganesha. Since then Lord Ganesha is worshiped before every auspicious work.
