Ingredients to make Lauki Ka Halwa
Gourd - 1 kg
Powdered sugar - 300 grams
Cashew - 15 chopped
Almonds - 15 chopped
Mawa (khoya) - 250 grams
Full cream milk - 1 cup
Desi ghee - 50 grams
Cardamom - 5

How to make Lauki Ka Halwa
First of all wash and clean the gourd thoroughly with water. After this, peel it and cut it into big pieces. Then take out its seeds and grate them. Now put the pan on the gas. Put gourd flakes and milk in it and let it cook. However, keep stirring it in between so that it does not stick to the bottom. Keep cooking it till the milk reduces completely. Now cut dry fruits (cashew nuts, almonds) into small pieces and grind cardamom to make powder. When the milk present in the bottle gourd is finished, add powdered sugar to the bottle gourd and mix. Keep cooking it till the sugar gets completely mixed in the halwa.


After this, put another pan on medium flame and add mawa to it and roast it. Fry the mawa until it changes color slightly. When ghee starts separating from Mawa, then understand that Mawa has been prepared well. Now take it out in a vessel. Now put ghee in the pan and put it on the flame and when it becomes hot, add pre-cooked gourd to it and fry it for at least 4 minutes while stirring well.
