Ladli Bahna Yojana Review Meeting: Bhopal CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan is seen in action regarding the Ladli Bahna Yojana. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan held a review meeting regarding this scheme this evening. Elections are about to come in Madhya Pradesh and CM Shivraj has started this scheme to help half the population ie women. Under this scheme, one thousand rupees will be given to all the women of the state.


CM himself is monitoring
Ladli Bahna Yojana serves half the population of the state. Since elections are due in the state this year, the CM is personally monitoring the scheme. In today's review meeting, the Chief Minister took information regarding e-KYC, the opening of bank accounts, the Aadhaar link, etc. The Chief Minister also gave instructions for its simplification so that more and more women can get its benefits. Due to the BJP's ongoing booth empowerment campaign in the state, now the application forms for the scheme will be filled out from March 25 to April 30, while earlier the process of filling out the application was to start from March 15.

What is Ladli Bahna Yojana?
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan launched the Ladli Bahna Yojana on his birthday on 5 March. Under this scheme, the government will give one thousand rupees every month to eligible women. This scheme was started at Jamboree Ground in Bhopal. Shivraj himself sat and filled out the form of Ladli Bahna Yojana. About 80 lakh women in Madhya Pradesh will get the benefit of the scheme. The government has kept Rs 8,000 crore for this. Women who do not pay tax, they will be able to take advantage of Ladli Bahna Yojana. Women living below the poverty line will be eligible for this scheme. The amount will be directly transferred to the woman's account. Beneficiary women will get Rs 12,000 annually under the Ladli Bahna Yojana.
