To make kheer, take 1 liter of milk, ½ cup of sugar, 1 cup of soaked rice, ¼ cup of condensed milk, 2 teaspoon of cardamom powder, ghee, saffron milk, and chopped dry fruits. Whereas in dry fruits, you can add almonds, cashews, pistachios, and raisins. So let's now know about the method of making kheer.

To prepare delicious kheer at home, first of all, keep the milk in a vessel for heating. Now put the rice in the mixer and grind it coarsely. Keep in mind that the rice should not be very fine. Now put this rice in milk and stir it. After this, keep the pan on the gas to get heated. Now add sugar to it. After melting the sugar, add a little water to the pan.


Now cook the sugar till it turns red. After this add sugar to the milk and mix it. Now put some ghee in the pan. After heating the ghee, add all the dry fruits like almonds, cashews, pistachios and raisins and roast them. Now mix the roasted dry fruits in the milk as well. After this add condensed milk, saffron milk and cardamom powder in the vessel and mix well. After cooking for some time, turn off the gas. Just your tasty and healthy kheer is ready.
