Khandvi Recipe: Want to take a Gujarati taste at home, make famous Khandvi there

- a bowl of gram flour
- a cup of curd
- 2 green chillies (finely chopped)
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp ginger paste
Water as needed
- 3 to 4 curry leaves
- a teaspoon of mustard
1 tablespoon raw coconut (grated)
- finely chopped coriander
- 1 green chilli (finely chopped)
Salt as per taste
- one tablespoon oil
Method Of Making:
First of all, mix curd and gram flour together in a bowl.
Now make a batter by adding water, turmeric, ginger paste and salt to the gram flour.
Pour gram flour batter into a pan on medium flame and stir continuously with a ladle.
When the gram flour solution starts to thicken, reduce the flame and cook it for some more time so that the solution becomes completely thick.
Turn off the flame as soon as the batter is ready and spread it evenly on the plate. Keep in mind that the plate must be greased.
- In 8 to 10 minutes the solution will cool down and solidify. Cut the frozen crust with a knife into wide strips.
Make a roll by folding the strips around.
Now again heat the oil in a pan on medium flame. Add mustard seeds, curry leaves and green chillies to it and fry and turn off the flame.
Pour the tempering all over the khandvi with the help of a spoon.
