Ayodhya's astrologer Kalki Ram Ram says that Lord Shankar had killed the demon Tripurasura on the full moon date of Shukla Paksha of Kartik month and the festival of Dev Diwali is also celebrated on the full moon date of Kartik month. Know what to do on Purnima Tithi
The entire house should be cleaned on the full moon day of Kartik month. It is said that Goddess Lakshmi resides only in a clean house. On this day, the entire house should be decorated with flowers and Lord Vishnu should be worshiped along with Goddess Lakshmi. Things like rice, sugar, milk, etc. should be donated on this day. Apart from this, donating a lamp in the evening is also considered very auspicious. On the day of Kartik Puja, lamps should be lit in the entire house. By doing this one gets relief from all types of problems.

Do not do this work on this day
One should avoid sleeping till late at night on the day of Kartik Purnima. Basil leaves should not be plucked even by mistake on this day. One should avoid consuming green vegetables. Apart from this, one should not eat non-vegetarian food on this day. Do not let any feeling of hatred arise in your mind towards anyone. If you do so on this day then Lord Shankar will soon become happy.
