The Indian Central Government and State Government run various types of schemes for the economically weaker people of their country, which aim to help these people and uplift their standard of living, to reduce some of these difficulties, the Uttar Pradesh government has launched a helpful initiative aimed at reducing the financial stress of marriage.

The Uttar Pradesh government's Vivah Anudaan Yojana, or Vivah Anudaan Yojana, is designed to provide financial assistance to economically deprived families in the state to support the marriage of their daughters. Let's know about this scheme-

Financial assistance

Under this scheme, eligible families get a grant of Rs 51,000 to help meet the expenses related to the marriage of their daughters.

Eligibility Criteria

Geographical Limit: This scheme is available only to residents of Uttar Pradesh. Citizens of other states are not eligible.

Age requirement: The girl must be at least 18 years of age and the boy must be at least 21 years of age.

Economic criteria: The scheme is for families belonging to SC, ST, OBC, minority and general category who are economically weaker.

Income limit:

Urban areas: For families living in urban areas, the annual income should not exceed Rs 56,560.

Rural areas: For families living in rural areas, the annual income should not exceed Rs 46,080.

- Identification cards of both the individuals

- Marriage certificate or card

- BPL (below poverty line) card

- Residence certificate

- Photographs of the bride and groom

- Income certificate
