How to submit a Digital Life Certificate
According to the information given by EPFO, pensioners can easily submit life certificates by following some steps.
Install AadharFaceRd or Jeevan Pramaan Faceapp on your smartphone.
After logging in to these apps, the pensioner has to scan his face.
Now after the face scan, all the details will have to be given to the pensioner.
After this, the pensioner will have to click the photo again with the front camera of the phone.
After the photo is clicked, the photo has to be submitted.
After the photo is successfully submitted, the life certificate will be submitted.
The pensioner has to keep in mind that his bank account or post office account should be linked to the Aadhaar card.
Why is a life certificate necessary?
The central government and the state government have made life certificates mandatory. If the pensioner does not submit the life certificate by November 30, then he will not get the benefit of pension from December. Through the life certificate, the government confirms whether the pensioner is alive or not.
