But, during this time Mathura Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple and Shri Banke Bihari Temple of Vrindavan remain in the center. Mangala Aarti is performed only once a year in the Banke Bihari temple of Vrindavan, in which devotees from all over the world participate. Along with this, many other traditional rituals are also performed here on the day of Janmashtami.
Aarti tradition only once a year
This time Shri Krishna Janmotsav will start on 7th September in Banke Bihari temple. Darshan will start at 7:45 a.m. After the darshan opens, Shringar Aarti of Thakur Banke Bihari will be performed first at 7:55 in the temple. After this, there will be Rajbhog Aarti of God at 11:55 in the temple. After this, darshan will be stopped in the temple at 12:00 noon by sprinkling. Then again in the evening, there will be darshan from 05:30 to 09:30, and in between Shayan, Bhog Aarti will take place at 9:25.
Mangala Aarti happens once a year
There will be Mahabhishek with the birth of Lord Shri Krishna at 12 o'clock in the night. Darshan will be opened again for the devotees at 1:45 p.m. After this, Mangala Aarti of Banke Bihari, which happens once a year, will start at 1:55 p.m. Along with this, devotees will be able to have darshan of Banke Bihari till 5:30 a.m. After this, the temple will return to its daily routine from 7:45 a.m.
