Reasons for rejection of insurance claim
There can be many reasons for an insurance claim. You did not fill in the correct details while taking insurance. You did not fulfill the conditions of the policy. Or you did not disclose pre-existing health problems and did not give correct information about habits like alcohol and smoking. Or you did not give correct information about your business. Apart from this, depending on the type of insurance you have, you must be asking for a claim under the right conditions, only then your claim will be accepted.

What to do if you do not receive an insurance claim?
First of all, you have to go to the grievance redressal office of the insurance company. If your claim is not being processed or has been rejected, then you will first have to go to the Grievance Redressal Officer or Grievance Redressal Officer of the insurance company. According to the rules of the insurance regulator Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI), every insurance company should have its own grievance redressal officer.

IRDAI has made rules
If your problem is not solved at the level of the insurance company. A complaint can be made to IRDAI. If your grievance is not heard within the next 15 days, you can complain to the Grievance Redressal Cell of the Consumer Department of IRDAI by emailing complaints@irdai.gov.in.
