Indian Navy Recruitment 2024: Indian Navy has released a notification for the recruitment of Senior Secondary Recruit SSR Medical Assistant. The application process for these posts is starting from 7 September and the last date to apply is 17 September. Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of Indian Navy joinindiannavy.gov.in. 

Who can apply-

To apply for these posts, candidates must have passed the 12th examination with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects. Also, there should be at least 40% marks in each subject. The age of the candidates should be between 1 November 2003 to 30 April 2007. The height of the candidate must be 157 cm and chest 5 cm. 

How will the candidates be selected-

Candidates will first be shortlisted on the basis of their marks obtained in 12th. After this, they will have physical test, written examination and medical examination. After passing these stages, the successful candidates will be given training and they will be included in the service.

How much salary will be given-

During the training, candidates will be given a salary of Rs 14,600 per month. After the completion of the training, they will be given a salary of Rs 21,700 to Rs 69100 under Defense Pay Matrix Level 3. Apart from the basic salary, they will be given Rs 5200 as military service pay along with other allowances.
