If your savings account is in the private sector ICICI Bank, then there is important news for you. ICICI Bank has revised its savings account service charges. The bank has changed checkbooks, IMPS, ECS/NACH debit returns, stop payment charges, etc. According to the bank's website, these changes will be effective from May 1, 2024.

ICICI Bank has revised these charges-

1. Debit card annual charge – Rs 200 annually, Rs 99 annually in rural areas

2. Check Book – Zero charge i.e. no charge for 25 check books in a year. After that, Rs 4 will have to be paid for each cheque.

3. DD/PO – Rs 100 will have to be paid for cancellation, duplicate, and revalidation.

4. IMPS – Outward: Amount up to Rs 1,000 will be charged Rs 2.50 per transaction, Rs 1,000 to Rs 25,000 – Rs 5 per transaction, Rs 25,000 to Rs 5 lakh – Rs 15 per transaction.

5. Account closure – zero

6. Debit Card PIN Regeneration Charge – Zero

7. Debit Card De-Hotlisting – Zero

8. Balance Certificate, Interest Certificate – Zero

9. Charges for retrieving documents related to old transactions or inquiries related to old records – Zero

10. Signature Verification or Attestation: Rs.100 per transaction

11. Address Verification – Zero

12. ECS/NACH Debit Returns: Rs 500 each for financial reasons

13. National Automated Clearing House (NACH), One Time Authorization Charge – Zero

14. Marking or unmarking of a savings account – Zero

15. Internet Users ID or Password (Branch or Non-IVR Customer Number) – Zero

16. Address change request in branch – Zero

17. Stop Payment Charge – Rs 100 for cheque
