Extended holiday period

In Rajasthan, employees and students will enjoy a four-day holiday from September 13 to September 16. Residents of Banswara district will get the additional benefit of five days off due to an additional local holiday.

The details of the upcoming holiday schedule are as follows:

September 13: Ramdev Jayanti, Teja Dashami and Khejadli Shaheed Diwas. All government and private schools will remain closed.

September 14: Second Saturday of the month. Banks and many offices will be closed.

September 15: Sunday. A regular holiday for many businesses and institutions.

September 16: Eid-e-Milad. This day, celebrated as the birthday of the Prophet Mohammed, has been recognized as a holiday by the Education Department.

For Banswara district: Residents of Banswara will benefit from an additional local holiday on September 17 for Anant Chaturdashi. This makes a five-day consecutive holiday from September 13 to September 17.
