Preparations for the festival of colors Holi have started from Phulera Duj. The festival of Holi is celebrated in different forms in many places in the country, but Braj's Holi is famous all over the world. Holi starts from Phulera Duj in Braj Mandal. On this day Lord Krishna plays Holi of flowers, and after that on the day of Holashtak i.e. Phalgun Shukla Ashtami, Fag invitation is sent to Nandgaon from the gopis of Barsana. On the same day in the evening, Laddu Holi is played in Ladli ji's temple in Barsana. The very next day, the world-famous Lathmar Holi of Barsana takes place. Phag invitation in Nandgaon: The Gopis of Barsana send Phag invitations to Nandgaon every year on Falgun Shukla Ashtami so that the hurray as there come to play Holi.

Laddu Holi of Barsana: On that day a Panda Phag from Nandgaon comes to Ladli ji's temple in Barsana with the message of acceptance of the invitation. Then Laddu Holi is played in happiness.

Lathmar Holi of Barsana: On the next day i.e. Falgun Shukla Navami, the hurray of Nandgaon comes to play Holi with the gopis of Barsana. There, Barsana's Lathmar Holi is celebrated. Gopis color the Hurayars and welcome them with sticks.

Rangbhari Ekadashi: Baba Vishwanath and Mata Gauri are welcomed with Gulal in Kashi on Falgun Shukla Ekadashi. Shiv ji visits the city with Mother Parvati.

Holika Dahan: Holika Dahan will take place in Mathura on March 6, while Holika Dahan will take place on March 07 in other places in the country.

Holi: Holi of colors will be played across the country on 08 March.

Rang Panchami: Rang Panchami is celebrated on the fifth day of Krishna Paksha of Chaitra month. On this day colors and gulal is offered to the gods and goddesses.
