A new update has come regarding GST (GST News) for big business companies. From November 1, companies with large businesses will have to upload receipts related to Goods and Services Tax (GST) on the portal within 30 days. This provision will be applicable to companies with a turnover of Rs 100 crore or more.

NIC gave information
The National Informatics Center (NIC), which operates the e-receipt portal of GST (GST News), has informed about this decision of the GST Authority in an advisory. According to this, the authority has asked to upload the receipt on the portal within 30 days from the date of issue.

The rule will come into effect from November 1
This deadline will be applicable to taxpayers with an annual turnover of Rs 100 crore or more (GST News). This system will come into effect from November 1, 2023.

CBIC can apply to all businessmen
Rajat Mohan, senior partner, AMRG & Associates, said that if this system is implemented smoothly, the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) can later implement it for all GST taxpayers.
