Google Maps: How to use Google Maps without internet, even people who have been using it for years don't know the trick!

Do you know that Google Maps allows you to save maps on your device? In such a situation, if you are at a place where your mobile internet is not working, then you can access the map even when you are offline.

In this offline map, you will be able to see navigation, directions, and search locations. However, you will not see real-time traffic details in offline Google Maps. Also, walking/bicycling directions and alternate routes will not be visible.

Let us know how you can download offline maps:
First of all, open Google Maps on your phone and tap on the profile icon from the top right corner.
After this tap on Offline Maps from the menu.
After this tap on SELECT YOUR OWN MAP. You can pinch in or out to select the area you want to download.

After this users will have to tap on Download.
Let us tell you that offline maps expire after some time. In such a situation, you will have to download the update before the map expires. Offline maps expire in 15 days or less. By the way, Google Maps downloads this area as soon as it gets WiFi.

If you want, you can also update Google Maps manually. For this, you will first have to open Google Maps on your phone or tablet. After this, you will have to tap on the profile picture to go to offline maps. Then you have to tap on the expired or expiring area from the list. Then you have to tap on Update.
