In view of the G-20, all railway stations will be cleared of all vehicles by 8, 9 and 10 September. No type of vehicle will be allowed to stay except for very essential vehicles.

The G-20 summit is going to be held in the country's capital from 8 to 10 September. Regarding this, security has been strengthened at Delhi's metro, bus and railway stations. During this, common people will have to face many restrictions from metro to roads. Northern Railway has also changed the routes of many trains, while the stations of some trains have been changed. More than 200 trains are going to be canceled due to G-20. Apart from this, Western Railway has also changed the route of many trains in view of G20. Railways has planned train handling keeping in mind the arrangements for the G20 conference in Delhi. In this sequence, the schedule of some trains of Western Railway has been changed.

Railways canceled 207 train services

Railways has ordered cancellation of more than 200 trains due to G20. Giving information about this, Northern Railway said that in view of the preparations and security of the prestigious G-20 Summit program to be organized in Delhi region, the Railways has decided to temporarily cancel/change the terminal/reschedule/divert and provide additional stoppage etc. to the following trains. The decision has been taken. Passengers are requested to plan their journey accordingly. A total of 207 train services have been canceled on 9, 10 and 11 September. At the same time, it has been decided to short terminate and short originate 36 trains.

Train No. 12951 Mumbai Central - New Delhi Tejas Rajdhani Express commencing journey from Mumbai Central on 8th & 9th September, 2023 has been provided with additional stoppage at Hazrat Nizamuddin station.

Train No. 22209 Mumbai Central - New Delhi Duronto Express commencing journey from Mumbai Central on 8th September, 2023 has been provided with additional stoppage at Hazrat Nizamuddin station.

Train No. 12450 Chandigarh - Madgaon Goa Sampark Kranti Express commencing journey from Chandigarh on 9th September, 2023 has been provided with additional stoppage at Badli station.

Train No. 12484 Amritsar-Kochuveli Superfast Express commencing from Amritsar on 10th September, 2023 has been provided with additional stoppage at Badli station.

Train No. 12926 Amritsar-Mumbai Central Paschim Express commencing from Amritsar on 9th and 10th September, 2023 has been provided with additional stoppage at Badli station.

Train No. 12472 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra – Bandra Terminus Swaraj Express commencing from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra on 9th September, 2023 has been provided with additional stoppage at Badli station.

Train No. 12478 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra - Jamnagar Superfast Express commencing from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra on 10th September, 2023 has been provided with additional stoppage at Badli station.

Train No. 20957 Indore-New Delhi Superfast Express commencing from Indore on 8th September, 2023 has been provided with additional stoppage at Faridabad station.

Train No. 19408 Varanasi-Ahmedabad Express commencing from Varanasi on 9th September, 2023 has been provided with additional stoppage at Delhi Shahdara station.

 

There will be no vehicles at railway stations

In view of the G-20, all railway stations will be cleared of all vehicles by 8, 9 and 10 September. No type of vehicle will be allowed to stay except for very essential vehicles. Dropping of passengers coming to the station will be allowed, there will be a complete ban on pickup. Railway DSP Apoorva Gupta said that, we have written a letter to Railway DRM, in which there is a request to vacate the railway parcel house for three days and stop the booking and to make duty passes of the railway employees who will be close to the venue of G-20. 75 CCTVs installed near railway stations

In view of the G20 summit, GRP has installed 75 CCTVs at New Delhi, Old Delhi, Nizamuddin Railway Station in the open areas of the station to keep a 24-hour surveillance. Lighting arrangements have been made by installing new electric poles in dark places at the station. Apart from this, all stake vendors of railway stations, porters, taxi drivers, porters, cleaning staff at stations, auto drivers, parking attendants have all been prepared to keep an eye on the activities around them. They have been instructed to inform the Railway Police about any suspicious person or goods.
