This facility will be available on online Aadhaar update
According to UIDAI, this facility of updating an Aadhaar card for free is available only via online process. To do this work, you will need identity proof and other necessary documents. But if Aadhaar users get this work done from Common Service Center i.e. CSC, then they will have to pay a charge of Rs 50. On the other hand, if you do this work online after the last date, then also you will have to pay a fee of Rs 50 for it.

Updating Aadhaar is not mandatory
Let us tell you that UIDAI has clarified many times that updating Aadhaar is not mandatory. But if your Aadhaar card is old, then it is in your interest to get it updated. How to update the Aadhaar card
First of all, go to the official website https://uidai.gov.in/.

After this, click on the option of update Aadhaar.

Now enter the Aadhaar number and log in through OTP.

Now you have to click on the option to update your Aadhaar card.

Choose the address option.

After this, you have to click on Proceed to Update Aadhaar.

Now upload the documents related to the updated address.

After the update request is accepted, a 14-digit URN number will be generated.

Save this number. Your Aadhaar will be updated after a few days.
